Dinner

Last night we went out to dinner with some friends. Sebastian came along, of course, and he was great. He fell asleep in the taxi going to the restaurant and slept in his stroller all through dinner. He woke up right after desserts and he was in a great mood, charming everyone who gave him some attention haha. Super trooper, always happy! :) He is really a joy to take along everywhere, so easy going. I'm a very lucky mom!!!

16 months!

The mini stroller

Here it is! Every other kid in the park has one of these mini strollers. Sebastian always end up borrowing them and then he just runs around the park with it. He loves it! And this is one of the things I purchased the other day at the toy store. Yesterday Sebastian had a little bit of a runny nose, that this morning was worse, and with not so great weather outside I've decided to stay in today to get him better fast. But it's not so easy to entertain a very energetic child at home all day... Enter the mini stroller!. This was suppose to be one of his outdoor toys but I took it out this morning and showed it to him. He seriously started jumping on the spot, clapping and laughing when he saw it haha. And he hasn't let go of it yet. I think we are ok with staying in today. :)

Awesome day!

It was sunny but very windy yesterday so still a bit chilly in the air. But wow, what a day we had!

First we went to the park. Here all the kids bring toys and then everybody shares them. Great idea since that means new things to play with every day. I have been meaning to go to the toy store for some time now but I just haven't gotten around to it. So the only outdoor toys that Sebastian has are footballs and right now he's more into toys with wheels when we're in the park.

After that Sebastian ran into a boy who had a baby stroller so they switched toys

After the park we went home for lunch and a nap, When Sebastian woke up we took a walk to the toy store where this mommy went a little crazy. We left with a mini-baby stroller, a big truck, 4 little cars, bucket and a shovel and last but not least, a scooter. We are now set for our next visit to the park haha.

On the way home we stopped by my friends house and Sebastian got to see his favourite girl, Stella. She's almost 9 and Sebastian REALLY likes her.

She was in the park with her friends and Sebastian was so happy to stay with them. I went over every once in a while but he was too busy trying to charm them that he barely noticed me haha. Absolutly adorable! And the girls were so sweet to him. It was one very proud mommy and a very happy and tired son that came home just before Sebastians bed time. Do I need to say that he feel asleep without the slightest complaint? hehe

Chanel Double Perfection

I have a very tyoical swedish complection, a little dry, sensitive and mixed. I mostly just need powder on the t-zone. So the last time I went searching for "the perfect powder" I ended up with Chanel's Double Perfection. I tried it in the store and it looked good but it's always hard to tell without trying at home. Anyway, the lady in the store convinced me that this was the best on the market for my skin type. I almost changed my mind when she mentioned the price but I bought it anyway. And she was right!! It it worth every cent. I have tried so many powders and nothing compares to this. It just disappears on your skin leaving it flawless. And now, 3 years later with the same powder, I know you really get a lot for the money. It's close to being finished now and there is no doubt that I will buy again.

Growing up

It's going too fast! My little Sunshine is growing up and I see him learning new things every day. He carefully inspects everything we do and then try to copy it and he picks it up very fast. The other week he got tall enough to climb up on all the chairs in our house. It's a very proud little man that now wants to sit on the big chairs and be just like us hehe.

Mother's Day

Yesterday was Mother's Day here in Italy (Sweden celebrates another day so I get celebrated twice hehe). It's nice that there is a day that celebrates mothers but I do have to say that I want to say thank you to Sebastian instead. My little HuggieBear that completly changed my life. I am so greatful that he is in my life.

Cupcake Couture

Walked by this little shop the other day, Cupcake Couture. Such cute little delicious treats and a great gift idea. Yummie!

Hot!

Wow! We have really had amazing weather in these days. After walking so much the last couple of days, going in and out of countless shops, we spend yesterday in Parco Sempione. Chilled, played and enjoyed the green surroundings and the silence. Now Louise has gone back to Sweden. I already miss her! But I think my little Sunshine misses her more. He has been stuck on her like a band-aid haha.

Fingers Garden

What a fantastic, sunny and hot day we had yesterday!!! After a 7 hour walk around the city with my friend and an amazing Sebastian, who didn't complain once, we finished the day off with an increadable dinner at Fingers Garden. The food was YUMMIE!!! And just to top the evening off, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sitting at the table next to us, so we got an autograph for my friends very fotball interessted son. :)

Mama's little helper

Yesterday my parents left so the rest of the day was all about cleaning. Puh! I'm so lucky to have my little Sunshine who happily gave me a helping hand hehe. And in just a few hours a friend of my arrives to visit for a couple of days. :)

The designers behind Marchesa has announced that they are coming out with a lower-price line. It's gonna be clothing and accessories ranging from $150 to $750, out in stores next summer. Very exciting!

French fries

We were very lucky yesterday and managed to have a lunch outside with sunshine. Sebastian was in a fantastic mood and he got to taste french fries. And he loooooved them!!! :)

My parents are here for a long weekend. Typically we have bad weather but Sebastian is entertaining us a lot hehe. He's is showing off all of his tricks and toys to my parents delight. :)

Burberry event

The other night I was at an event at Burberry. I went home with cravings for a lace trench coat, a colourful clutch, stunning strappy sandals, a gorgeous dress coat, lovely music by The Daydream Club and Burberry's latest poster boy Eddie Redmayne hehe. A fun night!

Anna Dello Russo

Next in line for a collaboration with H&M is Anna Dello Russo. It's gonna be bags, shoes, jewelry and sunglasses released in stores and online the 4th of October. It's very summery pieces so the date is a bit surprising but there seem to be some interessting pieces to purchase.

The other day a friend of mine came over with her little dog. Sebastian was just about to go to be but there was no way he was gonna do that when he saw this little cutie. He's not trying to eat her hehe. This is Sebastian leaning in to give a kiss. And he did it over and over again, smiling and laughing all the time. Insanely cute!!!

1st of May

Tomorrow my man starts working again so today we are gonna have as much fun as possible. The weather is not on our side but hey, we're happy anyway. It's been so nice to have my man home for a whole month but tomorrow it's back to reality. Just me and my little HuggieBear again! :)

Working with beauty products I have had to try so many mascaras over the years I've lost count a long time ago. But there is no mascara that compares to YSL's Volume Effet Faux Cils.

Rainbow of colours

Yesterday we went flower shopping for our balcony. I love going to this place, it's so peaceful there and so beautiful with all the colours. I am not much for gardening, don't have green fingers at all hehe, but this place really makes me wish I had a house with a garden that I could decorate in all the colours of the rainbow.

On the train

We had a lovely day in Como yesterday. We always take the train that matches Sebastian's nap schedule. So after looking out the window for a while he quietly fell asleep on me. :)
